Event 1 - Slalom
The Ski run is one of three events in this level - starting at the top, make your way down the hill, weaving in and out of the flags. Every flag successfully cleared will result in a 'ping' and you'll start getting powerups. There is a 'best time' stand at the foot of the run and a prize podium to the left - if you're particularly successfull, the podium will contain further prizes.
You can do this as often as you want - even if the flags get destroyed, as long as you know roughly where they should be (usually a raised mound), you can still collect the powerups.
Event 2 - Ski Jump
To produce the best results on the ski jump, make sure that you're loaded with Interceptor Missiles. Enter through the door at the base of the starting point and you be taken to the start point. From here, it's a case of pointing in a straight line and hitting the Afterburner. Timed correctly, you may even have time to fire two of them. Lighter vehicles will tend to go further, but are harder to control, while the heavier vehicles struggle to create much air.
Event 3 - Bobsled
You'll really pick up speed on this event, so be wary about using Afterburners. Try and look ahead to see the next bend - if you amke it, the podium offers an array of prizes. Of course, you may want to drop a catus patch or two on the way down...
Gondola
As with the gondolas in the Ski Resort level, they'll take you up and down the hill, stocking up with weapons on the way. As before, they're quite vunerable, particulary against homing missiles and combos like the Missile Swarm.
Ski Lift
The ski lift is a clunkier version of the gondolas, but is faster and lower to the ground reducing your chances of being hit. It doesn't have the benefit, however, of collecting powerups on the way.
Lodge
The lodge at the bottom of the hill provides a few powerups and entering the ground level doors will take you onto the balcony, fitting Ski Treads on the way.
Weapons & Powerup Spawn Points
The podiums generate pickups when you complete events - but you can steal other players prizes before they get to them! The paths of the three events are usually good for powerups, as are the roads and gondola runs.
