Convoy's truck is definitely one of the heavier duty vehicles - not only is it one of the larger vehicles in the game, but it is also able to take loads of punishment before it bites the dust. As with all heavy vehicles, one of the key tactics is to ram other vehicles - the faster you're going when you hit, the more damage gets done. In addition, when you're lining yourself up to ram another vehicle, fire some weapons at the same time - as long as you don't blast your victim out of the way, chances are they'll take major punishment. // One of the biggest problems with Convoy is that he's pretty much a sitting duck, so if at all possible, try and keep him moving, especially if you're low on energy. When your trying to take him out, you'll probably find that a sustained barrage of fire from a safe distance will wear him down, then you can go in for the kill.
Special
Steel Belter
Advanced weaponry is all well and good, but for Convoy there's nothing like an old truck tire stuffed full of dynamite. Just let it roll and (as luck would have it), it will bounce after the bad guys.
Convoy's weapon is pretty neat, in that it does a lot of damage and is slightly unpredictable. When fired, it launches a tire off the back of the vehicle which rolls about the scenery, eventually homing into the targeted vehicle. The thing is, it doesn't seem to make a beeline for its victim, instead, zig-zagging towards the target. This is great when it comes to making people uncomfortable as they don't know the whereabouts of the tire, or even if it's aimed at them. You can even fire off multiple tires at once, so for added chaos, use the targeting button to fire tyres at multiple vehicles and watch the tires bounce around the arena as if they were in a demented pinball machine!
